We highly recommend Pepe for Avila and Segovia tours. He is local, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He went above & beyond for us today. Because of inclement weather, he adjusted his schedule around for our benefit. He also personally accompanied us to a fabulous restaurant. Thank you Pepe for a memorable day out of Madrid!.

This was a fascinating tour that covered the entire history of  Spain. We learned so much! He even took us to a wonderful restaurant that could accommodate our dietary restrictions and a workshop that showed us how the Spanish were able to create unique medieval gold items like the ones that helped create their wealth in the Middle Ages. Pepe was fun and definitely gave us value for our money.

This was a fabulous tour to Toledo and Segovia. Pepe provided the most wondrous historical background and comments about the area the history of not just Segovia and Toledo but also of the whole of Spain, the relationship between the different parts of Spain as well as the religious significance at the time. He also wove in all sorts of details about The inquisition and architecture and a fantastic explanation of the royal family as well as the Romans it was the perfect amount of time and made the 2 cities totally come alive. Personally he was wonderful in that he met me the next day to deliver my Kindle which I had left behind!!!

Pepe was the best!!! He was fun to be with, interesting, informative! Beyond knowledgeable. We loved spending two full days with him!

Outstanding tour! Pepe combined the rich history of  Spain with Toledo city highlights and overall history. Pepe was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic way to get an individualized tour of Madrid. If your trip allows, ask about Toledo and Toledo's history and a chance to visit Toledo. The memories are priceless!

Our tour with Pepe was fantastic! He showed our family Madrid “like a local,” including the major sights and Retiro park, as well as eating at a delicious local restaurant and a dessert shop with churros & chocolate. He was very engaging with our kids (ages 16 & 12), who loved the tour. His English is excellent. He gave a straightforward context for all the places we saw, teaching us about the history of both Madrid and Spain. We would highly recommend Pepe!

This is a fantastic tour with a fantastic guide. Hands down Pepe is the best! We took 3 tours with him and his wealth of knowledge never ceases to amaze us. He is so familiar with every place he visits that anything you have read about or would like to see can come true. His driving is excellent too. What a fantastic tour! The Roman aqueducts are huge and an engineering marvel. This town is steeped in history including beautiful vistas and a hilltop castle. Pepe’s knowledge on everything is amazing. He thinks of every detail and knows of the best restaurant and bakery. Do yourself a favor and take this tour!

What a wonderful experience. Pepe arranged to meet us at the airport and then arranged to take us first to our hotel so we could leave our luggage before beginning our tour. I had made some notes as to sites I would like to see and he made sure my list was checked off and completed. We had an excellent lunch and door to door service. We could not have asked for a nicer or more knowledgeable tour guide.

Pepe provided us a fabulous wine tour of Ribera del Duero countryside and had the perfect mixture of history and culture! We had an incredible lunch at a local terroir restaurant. Can’t go wrong with Pepe, book away!

Pepe is one of the top tour guides we have ever had the pleasure of working with. His grasp of history, specifically Spanish history, is second to none. We were looking forward to our day trip to Segovia and Toledo, but he made it ten times better than we even expected. He is an excellent driver, very personable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

We had a fantastic food and wine tour out of Madrid with Pepe. He was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and fun. When we met up he had a plan that he shared with us and then he executed it to perfection. We went to places that we definitely never would’ve found on our own. The day truly could not have been any better!
